Bertolozzi joins Academic Advisement team
The board appointed Jessica Bertolozzi as an Academic Advisor on a full-time, 50 week, tenure track contract, effective Nov. 15, 2019, pending a successful background check. Bertolozzi has a Masters of Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale is currently employed at RLC and John A. Logan College.
Barrett, Herrmann join Marketing & Public Information team
The board appointed Logan Barrett as Web & Social Media Specialist, and Brett Herrmann as Public Information Specialist. Both positions are full-time, 50 week, non-tenure track positions. Barrett holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and most recently worked for Abstrakt Marketing Group out of St. Louis. Barrett's appointment is effective November 15, 2019. Herrmann has a Bachelor of Science in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois. He currently works as a reporter and online editor at the La Salle News Tribune. Herrmann's position is effective Dec. 2, 2019. Both appointments are pending a successful background check.
Davenport resigns from Child Care Resource and Referral
The board accepted, with regret, the resignation of Ms. Gayla Davenport, Subsidized Child Care Specialist, Child Care Resource & Referral, effective November 15, 2019.
Rapp resigns as Communication Specialist
The board accepted, with regret, the resignation of Ms. Allison Rapp, Communication Specialist, effective November 15, 2019.

- Ratified the payment of college expenses including travel expense reimbursements for the ACCT Leadership Conference and Annual Board Retreat.
