INA, Ill. (August 19, 2025) — Rend Lake College was bustling with excitement as students return to campus for the first day of classes for the Fall 2025 semester. The start of the academic year marks an opportunity for academic growth and achievements for the RLC community.

RLC kicked off the year with its annual “Welcome Back” event, setting the stage for another successful semester. The celebration gave students the opportunity to connect with fellow classmates, engage with faculty and staff, and discover the many resources and programs available to support their academic journeys.
"The first few days of a new semester are always energizing moments at Rend Lake College," said RLC President Lori Ragland. "It’s a time filled with opportunities—whether you’re beginning your college journey, returning to finish your certificate or degree, or taking courses to advance in your profession. Our faculty and staff are committed to offering the support, resources, and encouragement that help students thrive. We’re excited to watch our students grow, achieve, and reach their goals throughout this semester and beyond."
RLC is proud to provide access to education for many traditional and non-traditional students. Walk-in registration for the Fall 2025 semester is open until Wednesday, August 20. Visit rlc.edu/academic-advisement or email advisement@rlc.edu to get in touch with one of RLC’s academic advisors today.
