ABOVE and BEYOND - Rend Lake College President Terry Wilkerson (FAR RIGHT) and Liberat Arts Chair Buster Leeck (FAR LEFT) had the pleasure of presenting these three student-athletes an RLC Humanity Award during Homecoming celebrations on Feb. 20. The award was given to these three members of the baseball team (FROM LEFT) Brian Deaton (Mt. Vernon) Zane Xanders (Mt. Vernon) and Jason O'Brien (Emden) for their actions earlier this semester to help retired Professor Sue Tomlin. Tomlin was struck by a car on the Ina campus and the three students rushed to her aid, called for help, stayed by her side and assisted first responders.
