RLC Faculty, Staff serving free lunch on Student Appreciation Days

May 3, 2016

INA, Ill. (May 3, 2016) - Students at Rend Lake College are encouraged to take a break from finals and studying for a free lunch next week during two Student Appreciation Days. There will be free hot dogs, chips, water, and soft drinks available from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 10 in Warrior Way, located beneath the Academic Building.

RLC Faculty and Staff will be serving food to students as a way to thank them for a good year and celebrate the end of another round of classes.

“This year, Student Appreciation Days double as stress relievers for our students during finals week. It’s the perfect time for students to relax and enjoy themselves on one of the last days of the semester, as well as a great time for the faculty and staff to show our students how much we appreciate them,” said Rachel Sveda, RLC Financial Aid and Admissions Coordinator.

Student Services will be hosting the event. For questions or more information, contact Rachel Sveda at 618-437-5321, Ext. 1298 or svedar@rlc.edu.
