INA, Ill. (March 13, 2025) — Rend Lake College is happy to announce the Auto Open House will be on March 18 in Room 123 in the RLC Vocational Building from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The Auto Open House offers a great opportunity for prospective students, families and the community to experience the automotive technology program at RLC.

Attendees will have the chance to experience new EV training equipment, tour the RLC auto shop and learn more from faculty about certificates, degrees and new EV classes available.

Automotive Technology Program
The automotive technology program is a two-year program that leads to an Associate in Applied Science Degree, this curriculum is based on Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards designed to prepare the student for certification in the automotive industry. The program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation. Upon completion of the AAS degree students may transfer with articulation agreements/capstone options into a participating four-year institution.
