INA, Ill. (July 2, 2014) - Ina Police Department Chief Travis Allen, SECOND FROM RIGHT, presents Rend Lake College and the RLC Police Department with a certificate of appreciation Wednesday morning for their help in time of need. Allen explained, "We were in a bad situation where we lost both of our squad cars in the winter storms, less than a month apart. Thank goodness for Rend Lake College and the Rend Lake College Police Department for volunteering to let us use one of their squad cars until we could get back up and running. I want to thank Rend Lake College for being interested in the public's safety and for providing a helping hand when it was needed."
