CUTTING A PATH - Workers with Evrard-Strang Construction, Inc., began demolition today for the Pathway To Success project outside the Allen Y. Baker Administration Building at Rend Lake College. Spearheaded by the RLC Foundation, this project will focus on the walkway into the Baker building, which is visited by virtually every student. The area will be renovated to make it more inviting and identifiable, and to provide a testament of the commitment made by supporters of the college and its mission. The Foundation will match each dollar raised to establish an endowed scholarship for future RLC students. Earlier this month, Continental Tire the Americas in Mount Vernon became the lead contributor with a $25,000 pledge. For more about Pathway To Success, visit the Foundation online at www.rlc.edu/foundation.
