The deadline to apply for the Rend Lake College Nursing program is fast approaching. All applications and required materials are to be sent in by March 31.
The Associate Degree Nursing Program is designed to prepare future nurses to give quality care to clients and function as important members of the healthcare community. Registered nurses are employed in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, physicians’ offices, clinics and community agencies.
The Associate Degree Nursing program is accredited through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
According to the American Nurses Association, there will be more registered nurse jobs available in 2022 than any other profession. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a need for 1.1 million new nurses to meet the need for expansion and replacement of those retiring in order to avoid a nursing shortage.
