RLC partners with Mt. Vernon Iron Works
INA, Ill. (Aug. 9, 2016) - Mt. Vernon Iron Works, LLC, and Rend Lake College are teaming up to provide more educational opportunities for welding students. Earlier last month, Dave Black, SECOND FROM LEFT, Co-Owner of Mt. Vernon Iron Works, signed the agreement, which formally states the company will offer internships and work-based training for students and graduates.
Chris Nielsen, LEFT, RLC Dean of Applied Science, said, “It’s great that Mt. Vernon Iron Works is willing to put their continued commitment in writing. We rely on these local businesses to provide top-notch, hands-on experience for our students.â€
