RLC students pledge to reduce energy usage
INA, Ill. (April 8, 2015) - Rend Lake College students, FROM LEFT, Steve Boss (Mt. Vernon), Jenae Rowe (Joliet), Achaia Shipp (Mt. Vernon), and LaLa Rollins (Mt. Vernon) all took the "Compete to Reduce" pledge this afternoon at RLC to live more sustainably and reduce their carbon footprint. The pledge is one part of the college's plan for the Campus Conservation Nationals (CCN) competition to help reduce energy usage. RLC's goal for the competition is to increase awareness among students, faculty, and staff across campus. For more information about the CCN competition, click here.
