INA, Ill. (Aug. 2, 2021) -- Bertie Ham's Chefs of Tomorrow provided an opportunity Tuesday for young culinary campers to learn how to cook for themselves. Instructed by Rend Lake College Associate Professor Chef Jeff Fairbanks, campers were introduced to a menu that included blueberry and chocolate pancakes, whipped maple butter and sausage links.
The campers attending Tuesday were Jayden Fox, Rachel Morris, Maverick Zachman, Nora Hargis, Brody Rendfrow, Landis Musgrave, Nick Goddard and Payton DeJarnette.

was known
for her love for educating young children and cooking. The campers received some of Bertie's recipes as part of the experience. The camp continues through Thursday and different delicacies are planned for each day.
