INA, Ill. (April 11, 2024) – Legence Bank, a community-focused financial institution, proudly sponsored the 33rd Annual Rend Lake College Foundation Scholarship Dinner, contributing $5,000 towards scholarships and event support. This generous donation will directly benefit two exceptional RLC students, Brockton Miller and Madison Shephard, by providing them with scholarships that recognize their hard work, academic achievements and community service.

Legence Bank presented a $5,000 check to support the Legence Bank Burt H. Rowe Memorial Scholarship, the Legence Bank Merit Scholarship, and sponsor the evening's event. RLCF's Scholarship Reception is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of students and the generosity of their supporters. It serves as a way for them to network and socialize, and strengthens connections within the RLC community. This year's reception featured Miller as the keynote speaker.

Miller, 19, of Thompsonville, is a business major. Shephard, 20, of Mt. Vernon, is majoring in Culinary Arts. They have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies and community involvement.
