RLC second-year nursing students continue helping COVID-19 vaccine clinics

RLC Nursing students Mallory Price of Benton and Kathryn Schoenbaechler of Sesser administer over a table at the Bi-County Health Department COVID Vaccine Clinic recently held in West Frankfort.

 

The second-year Rend Lake College Nursing students have continued to work at the Bi-County Health Department Covid Vaccine Clinics, which were in West Frankfort on March 11 and 18. Approximately 800 vaccine doses were given during each day. RLC Nursing Instructor Denise Griffith said: "This is a once in a century occurring event, and to be able to participate is a great opportunity."
