Join RLC for chocolate and manufacturing at SIMA Fest

INA, Ill. (May 16, 2025) — Rend Lake College is excited to invite the community to the first ever SIMA Fest at the Southern Illinois Manufacturing Academy in Mt. Vernon.

This unique opportunity is free for attendees to experience a diverse vendor and business marketplace. There will be tours of RLC's new chocolate production facility Confection Connection and a live demonstration of chocolate being made. Delicious chocolate can be purchased throughout the night as well. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with local manufacturers and learn about exciting career paths in their industry — all in a fun, festival atmosphere.
