Start Your Child's Future with Pre-K Screenings at RLC

INA, Ill. (March 24, 2025) — Start your child's journey with success! Rend Lake College is offering free Pre-K screenings for the 2025-2026 academic year on May 19 and 20.

What to bring

• Copy of child's original birth certificate
• Proof of income (income tax or two most recent pay stubs)
• Medical card, TANF, SNAP or WIC card (if applicable)

RLC Foundation Children's Center will be offering child screenings on Monday, May 19 and Tuesday May 20. Call 618-437-5321, ext. 1393 to schedule an appointment* to have your child screened to see if they meet eligibility requirements for the state-funded preschool.

*Children must have an appointment in order to be screened. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
