INA, Ill. (April 16, 2018) - Twenty-nine local high school students competed in Rend Lake College's 36th Annual Welding Contest, with ten scoring high enough to receive prizes and three more getting honorable mentions. A total of $13,000 in Academic Awards were given to the top students to attend RLC's program in the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters. In addition to the Academic Awards, winners received gloves, with first place also receiving a camouflage Miller Welding Helmet thanks in large part to donations from ILMO Products.
