INA, Ill. (February 2, 2026) — The Rend Lake College Thespians Club showcased its improvisation skills and delivered an entertaining performance during the 2026 Night of Comedy on Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Ina Campus.

The audience roared with laughter as the performers improvised with audience suggestions and unique stage directions. The improv group even froze to allow audience members to take their place!
The Thespians use a form of acting called Comedy Improvisation. They perform the same kind of quick-thinking acting exercises seen on television’s "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" as well as exercises the "Second City" school of improvisational acting has mastered.
