About the artist:
My name is Jerome Wisehart, and I love abstract art. Having developed my artistic ability under teachers like Melissa McClement Engler and Therese Melena, I have gained traditional and modern art training. Having completed artistic works for colleges, individuals, and authors, my favorite part of this artistic journey is sharing the need for expression through class discussion and demonstration. Art speaks to many of us at a personal level. For me, art has been a journey of self-discovery and awareness.
As an artist from the Midwest, I grew up with the assumption that art is for enjoyment more than a career. Looking back at my experiences and education, I now see that art paved the way for me to be successful in my career. While many workers in today's workforce are limited to the confines of traditional solutions, artists often think outside of the norm. Recently, I developed and launched a new invention in my current workplace that reduced changeover times and almost tripled production. This idea came from the ability to think outside of what was already known. This is just one example of how art impacts our daily lives.
Those interested in the event can watch via Zoom.
