INA, IL (Oct. 14, 2021) -- A drop of paint can be more than just a drop of paint once it hits a surface. Visiting Artist Therese Melena held a paint pour demonstration in the Slankard Learning Resource Center on Thursday. During the on-campus event, the retired Rend Lake College arts instructor discussed how the technique could be used for abstract and realist paintings. She also showed students the different ways colors can be manipulated and transformed into beautiful works of art. Student volunteers participated in the demonstration and provided input on what colors should be added to make the masterpiece complete.
