INA, Ill. (April 26, 2018) — Rend Lake College announced today that freshman Sabryn Griffin is the winner of the RLC Values Design competition. The purpose of the competition was to challenge students to graphically represent RLC's Value Statement: "In serving our students and community, we strive to be student-focused, authentic, and resourceful."
Griffin's design won in a student vote on April 11. She received a $100 gift card and her winning design will be seen on banners and promotional items around campus beginning in May. Griffin, 18, of Woodlawn is a graphic design major and member of the women's golf team at the college.
Mariah Eader, 19, of Sesser was runner up in the competition and also received a prize from the RLC What's Up Committee. This group of staff and faculty members is tasked with informing the campus and community about RLC's core goals, including its Mission, Values and Learner Outcomes.
