About This Position

Rend Lake College is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant Director of Development for the Rend Lake College Foundation. This position reports to the Director of the Rend Lake College Foundation. The Assistant Director will support the mission of the Rend Lake College Foundation through scholarship administration, donor stewardship, fundraising support, and Foundation operations. This position serves as a key liaison between the Foundation and donors, students, community partners, and College stakeholders while coordinating scholarship programs, maintaining donor and financial records, supporting Foundation events, and assisting with board activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator with a passion for advancing educational opportunities and strengthening community engagement. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; or Associate’s degree with relevant experience required
- Must be comfortable speaking before groups, delivering presentations, and representing the Foundation at public events and community functions.
- Experience in fund development, office management, and record keeping preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
Salary & Benefits
- $43,000-$48,000, or commensurate with experience
- Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
