INA, Ill. (Oct. 3, 2023)—The CNA Conference is back for another year on RLC campus, offering free educational opportunities to CNA’s in the community and high schoolers.
The CNA Conference is free to all participants and is open to anyone interested. It will take place on Friday, October 20 at the Rend Lake College Event Center in Ina from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Each participant will receive 0.5 credit hours of continuing education for the conference (course number CNTED 1520-L1). Participants will also receive 6.5 CEU’s (continuing education units).
The day will involve 3 breakout sessions on different areas in the healthcare field. Free lunch will be provided for all the participants, which will also involve a giveaway and passing out Certifications of Attendance for the 6.5 credit hours. The full schedule is provided below:

9:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. :: Keynote Speaker: Misty Bradley
11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. :: Lunch & Networking Vendor Fair
12:30 p.m. – 1:20 p.m. :: Breakout Session 1: Dementia Live
1:30 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. :: Breakout Session 2: TBA
2:30 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. :: Breakout Session 3: CNA Skills
3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. :: Outstanding CNA Award, Door Prizes, & Closing
