Thompsonville Tigers become Warriors at College Signing event

THOMPSONVILLE, Ill. (April 23, 2019) — Nearly half of Thompsonville High's Class of 2019 enrolled at Rend Lake College today during one of RLC's College Signing events. Many of these students have already taken advantage of The Lake's free Dual Credit program, saving themselves and their families tens of thousands in college costs. By choosing to continue their education in one of more than 100 degree or certificate programs at RLC, these students will save around $18,000 a year in tuition and fees — when compared to the average cost of a public university.

Students pictured are, from left, Emily Sturgill, Autum O'Steer, Makayla Ellis, Lexi Wallace, Morgan Thompson, Melannie Mann, Daniel Flowers, Gerry Geoppo, Kenlee Smith, Reed Raubach, Tyler Jones, Peyton Roberts, Trenton Overturf, Aaryn Beavers, Trey Bybee, Jon Mason Sweet.

RLC will be at Woodlawn tomorrow and Benton on Thursday for College Signing events. Students there will have the chance to register with a trained academic advisor, receive an exclusive "I Choose Rend Lake College" tee shirt, and participate in the photo opportunity. Click the image for a larger version.
