INA, IL (Feb. 23, 2022) – To celebrate Black History Month, a local businesswoman will discuss with Rend Lake College about working in the fashion industry.

LaMiranda Gordon, chief executive officer and head designer of Ileana Symone Co, will speak on Monday, Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Student Center PDA.

Gordon is a local fashion designer based in Mt. Vernon. According to her company website, Ileana Symone focuses on durable, well-crafted and comfortable pieces that help others express their individual personality.
