INA, Ill. (November 10, 2022) — The Rend Lake College Foundation Children's Center (RLCFCC) hosted a Fall Fun Day for children and their families at Rend Lake College.

RLCFCC Pre-K teacher Rene Crouse and RLCFCC Preschool teacher Nichole Martie coordinated the Fall Fun Day. The teachers and staff of the children's center orchestrated an array of indoor and outdoor activities. The activities included a petting zoo, tractor ride, pumpkin exploration, pumpkin painting, pumpkin dig, face painting, book walk, pin the nose on the jack o' lantern, caramel apples, bounce houses, and various arts, crafts, and games. "The response was overwhelming," Crouse stated. "Families were donating time to volunteer and participate. This was a very successful family involvement activity that was fun for everyone."
