About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks two part-time GED Instructors to teach classes in Mount Vernon. Individuals will be responsible for teaching a curriculum emphasizing engaged learning activities in math, social studies, science, and language arts while integrating these subject areas with college and career readiness skills. Two morning classes and two evening classes are available to teach at this time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution required, preferably in adult or secondary education or related field
- Technology/Digital Literacy proficiency.
- Ability to work with adult students of diverse skills and motivational levels, ages, and cultural backgrounds.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
Salary & Benefits
$30 per contact hour, not to exceed 24 hours per week
