About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks a full-time, professional Assistant Athletic Director/Head Baseball Coach. This individual will Assist the Athletic Director in filing reports and maintaining compliance with the NJCAA and US Department of Education, assist in recruitment and hiring of head and assistant coaches, coordinate community service events with student-athletes, coordinate an intramural league for students, recruit and assign personnel for home events, assist student-athletes with eligibility and transfer, coordinate athletic facility operations and maintenance, serve as sports information officer, supervise the Director of the Recreation Center. Additionally, this individual will organize and conduct practices, schedule games and tournaments, compile and report statistics, manage the team budget, organize and participate in team fund raising, and manage all aspects of the Men’s Baseball Team. . // Full-time, 50-week, non-tenure-track position. |
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
- Community College coaching, teaching, or administrative experience required.
- Knowledge of NJCAA athletic eligibility, recruiting, and transfer processes preferred.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
Salary & Benefits
- $58,000 - $60,000
- Full benefits.
