About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks a full-time SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE SPECIALIST for the Child Care Resource and Referral program at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon. This individual will: verify Illinois Department of Human Services client eligibility; process approvals, denials and cancellations for subsidized child care; maintain communication with clients, providers, other CCR&R agencies and other community organizations; review child care certificates for completeness and accuracy; process payments; and other duties as assigned. Full-time nontenure-track grant-funded position
Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited institution required, Bachelor's preferred.
- Good computer and communication skills required.
- Must possess strong organizational, prioritization and decision-making skills.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft applications and web-based programming.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
Salary & Benefits
- $35,000-$37,000 annually
- Full benefits.
